Since DR Horton opened up their sales office for Harmony condos and townhouses, the demand has been overwhelming and now these new condos in Milpitas are sold out. The myriad of floor plans, community features and location have made Harmony a great choice for home buyers in San Jose and Silicon Valley.
There are currently three models available in Harmony condos, each with different floor plans. Plan one offers 1,640 square feet in a split floor plan, placing bedrooms and common living areas on separate floors. A complete bedroom, bathroom and even a porch are offered on the main level, the same level as the garage. This separation from the rest of the home could make for a great office or private guest room. Then floor two includes the main living space with the great room, kitchen, laundry, powder room and large deck (largest deck among the available units). The master bedroom suite and additional bedroom and bathroom are found on the third floor.
Plan two is 300 square feet larger than plan one and similar on the first and third floors (no porch on the first floor), but differs on the layout of the second floor. This plan is a little more open with the great room, kitchen and morning room spread out. Opening the deck doors provides even more open space. Laundry is on the third floor of this model.
The third model option is plan four, which is roughly the same size and layout as plan two.
All three plans and models include a two car garage.
Amenities Abound in Harmony
Harmony is almost built and setup like a master-planned community, with paseos, parks and playgrounds (referred to as Tot Lots) in the works. The shared spaces encourage residents to mix, mingle and engage in a spirit of community. With the mild sub-tropical weather in San Jose, there’s ample opportunity to get out and enjoy the meticulous landscaping and grounds.
Just down the street from The Great Mall and surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, theaters and parks, Harmony’s location is a great hub for the Silicon Valley. The 880 and 680 freeways are a short drive and make the East Bay and South Bay communities easily accessible. A future BART station nearby is also planned.
We're hoping builders get the idea that these great housing options are in demand and build more! And even though new condos are sold out, resales will be a good choice for homebuyers in the future.
